We just got back from the Notarization office and the Nanchang Wal-Mart. What an experience! We gave Celia her first bath this morning and she sat back in the tub like she was at a spa. It was hilarious. We then headed over to the Notarization office and had an interview in order to get her Visa to bring her home. We took pictures of her taking her first morning nap with us. She fell asleep on the bus. Everyone was laughing because she is never that still. They were all taking pictures of her. She woke up when we got to the Wal-Mart store. Veronica gave us tags to wear because she said that some of the Chinese people would come up to us wanting to know why white people have an Asian baby.. The tag told her name, where we were from and that we were adopting her and taking her back to the United States to have a happy, healthy life. Several Chinese people came up to us. They are not shy. They touch her on her face and hands and just smile. They are so happy for her and us. Two teenage Chinese girls came up to us and wanted their picture made. So we let them. They were giggling the whole time. It was so cute. By the way, the picture showing Greg with her crying is because we gave her some prunes. We are trying to help her bodily functions. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
