The Stork is in the air!!!!
We just got an e-mail from Beth at GWCA stating that they have a package on the way and they think that it is our referrals!!! We are so excited. I cannot even concentrate here at work. Beth said that the agency would get the package around 1:00PM (CST) and they would then call us and give us all of the information that they have on her (ex: age, weight, height, and any medical information). I will keep everyone posted on here as soon as I can. FLY STORK FLY!!!!!!!!!

Referrals arriving through March 14, 2006
After big delays this month from the "swine flu", holidays and vacations the CCAA has finally sent referrals through March 14th of 2006. We are so excited. It looks like we are "possibly" next. I told Greg that I was not going to get on the "rollercoaster" ride again but, of course, it is too late! The other night I was reading the Bible and feeling pretty low and I asked God to give me some scripture to hang on to. I was already reading in the book of Romans and it just so happened that I was in the 8th chapter and the verses that I read were 22 through 25. Boy, did God answer my prayers. Those are some awesome verses from an awesome God! I am having a hard time thinking today so I can't imagine how I will be when we get our referral. We could possibly hear from our agency anywhere from two weeks to the month of July. We never know when they will send out more but our agency has promised to keep in touch with us, so in turn I will keep in touch through our blog. KEEP PRAYING!!!!!

Cut-off date is March 8, 2006
We have just received word from our agency that the cut-off day is March 8. This puts us 7 days out. It is really 5 if you don't count the 2 weekend days of the 11th and 12th (but who's counting). We cannot believe that in a couple of months we will be traveling to China to pick up our little one. We are trying to stay calm, cool and collected, but the closer we get the more excited we become. It is very strange to know that our baby is already born and just out there waiting for us. We just pray for God's protection over her for now and always.

Cut-off March 6, 2006
We just got word that the cut-off date for this month is March 6, 2006. This means that our agency did not get referrals this month. The next LID that our agency has is March 8, 2006. I am not really expecting for our agency to get any referrals next month because they are saying that March 7th was a BIG DAY!! I hope that we are pleasantly surprised and that they end up sending more days. Only time will tell. As of now we are hoping for a May referral but it could be pushed out to June or July depending on what the CCAA does. I will keep everyone posted at least once a month since we are IN OUR MONTH!!! I love saying that. I know that this is all in God's timing and I am trusting and waiting on Him. Some days it is just hard to do. I am only human. Ha! Ha!

Our new LID!!!!!
We were just informed, on February 5, 2009, that we have a new Log-in-date (LID). Our LID date up to this point was March 20, 2006. Our referral counselor sent us an e-mail stating that it had recently come to her attention that our LID group was originally given 3 different LID dates. She discovered that this was because at the time our dossier was LID the CCAA was only doing verbal communications regarding LID's. Because this information was passed through several different CCAA officials, the wrong dates were sometimes given to our agency. Now the CCAA places all LID records in writing so she requested that the CCAA please verify our LID. We have now been informed that our LID is actually a little sooner than we thought. It is MARCH 16, 2006!!!!! We are so excited. It may not move us up any, but it could possibly move us up a month. Whatever the outcome we know that God is in control and His timing is perfect. Thank you so much for your support and prayers. We truly appreciate them.
